he cant just tell them "oh im on my phone i cant retract bids" thats not an acceptable resolution to his inaccurate website description as far as ebay is concerned, thats foul play and hes obviously knowingly doing this now with the way he freely chose to respond lol. he has been made aware of his mistake, and has chosen not to take responsibility, but instead let it fall on the innocent buyer. has nooo problem at all with that and would prefer the buyer be penalized instead of him.īc it ends in less than 24 hours she cant retract the bid on her own. i understand honest mistakes, but blatantly refusing any reprieve from HIS mistake he made in the listing, weather he intentionally mislead people or not, hes still obligated to immediately end the listing bc all of the buyers involved are now being mislead by his inaccurate description and negligence. hes refusing to be honest bc hes doing it on s a scam. What! lol it will be his problem if he chooses to intentionally misleads them, especially if the listing ends. call and ask CS to remove the listing before it ends, bc of an inaccurate description and foul seller doing this intentionally.there is no way he didnt know. in my personal experience, he might have said battery on purpose, knowing the price of the other no one would have bid on it, which is against ebay policy to withhold information to make a sale. the seller wasnt honest, he might feel like you're calling him stupid but tbh he lied weather he knew it or not, and is now being blatantly dishonest, and it was his responsibility to list the accurate details before pressing list. "just let it go and dont pay for it." that is a strike to your account if you dont pay for an item, and he knows that. hes replying to you, so he obviously has a smart phone.he made the listing with the phone in the first place obviously. that is an excuse and yes he can retract from his phone! unless hes too stupid to work desktop mode. What can we do about it? There's only 35 minutes left. It will come off in 4 days." He also said he can't retract bids from his phone. The seller still refused to retract the bid saying "Just let it go to the end and don't pay for it. When my husband again said it was an honest mistake. The seller then proceeded to rudely tell my husband off about asking for a bid retraction the day it ends. My husband explained that it wasn't a battery but a capacitor. When My husband explined he had read it and he thought he was biding on a working watch that needed a battery. He told my husband to read the description. The seller responded with only 1 hour left on the auction. when My husband contacted the seller to ask to retract the bid. It is similar to a battery but it cost 10x more. When I looked up the watch I found out that the watch doesn't take a battery it needs a capacitor. The description says it is in great condition but needs a battery. My Husband has been bidding on a watch all day.
